Customs Procedures Code (CPC)

A Customs Procedure Code (CPC) is used for both imports and exports to identify the nature of the movement of the goods. The seven digits Customs Procedure Codes have been integrated into ASYCUDA ++. The procedure codes are based on 4 digits that can define any of the Customs procedures applicable anywhere in the world. An extra 3 digits are available for special concessions for national use.

For importation the CPC describes the purpose of your shipment and informs Customs about the duty to be paid on the goods. At export the CPC has a similar function to notify Customs of the procedure both at the time of export and at the country of destination.
